Additional Opportunities
#ENOUGH: Plays to End Gun Violence (www.enoughplays.com), a new year-long initiative for middle and high school students to use playwriting to spark conversations about gun violence in their community.
Students in 6-12 write and submit short 10-minute plays about gun violence now until April 20, 2020. Those plays will be read by a team of theatre artists and a selection of plays will be chosen and read in locations across the country in an evening of simultaneous readings on December 14, 2020 - the 8th anniversary of Sandy Hook. Check out the write-up in American Theatre: https://www.americantheatre.org/2020/01/08/enough-a-new-play-initiative-enlists-youth-to-confront-gun-violence/.
